The suspended chain aerator is a new type of oxygen-enhancing aerator developed by our company after years of effort, drawing on the advantages of various similar products from abroad. It is a core piece of equipment in the improved A/O process (activated sludge biological treatment process) for wastewater treatment. It effectively acts on all parts of the aeration tank, providing uniform oxygen supply with low energy consumption.
The suspended chain microporous aerator consists of three parts: the aerator, the suspended chain, and the surface oxygen delivery pipes.
The structure and materials of the aerator are shown in the diagram below;
Suspended chain: Made of high-strength polyvinyl chloride pipe;
Floating pipe: Made of UV-resistant, hard-walled, flexible HDPE plastic pipe.

Product Composition

The suspended chain mobile aeration system consists of four parts: aerators, suspension connecting pipes, surface air delivery pipes, and fasteners.
The aerator comprises: support pipe (ABS or PVC), air chamber, diaphragm, and connectors (stainless steel).
Suspension connecting pipe: made of high-strength polyethylene pipe;
Float pipe: made of UV-resistant, hard-walled, flexible plastic pipe;
Fasteners: stainless steel;
Aerator membranes include: composite membranes, EPDM membranes, and silicone rubber membranes.

Advantages of Aerators

Economic advantages of suspended chain aerators:

(1) Reduced engineering investment: The core structure of the aerator in suspended chain technology can be a combined earthen pond structure (phosphorus removal pond, aeration pond, sedimentation pond, secondary aeration pond, and stabilization pond can all be freely combined), or existing pits and natural water systems can be utilized. The pond shape can be designed into an irregular shape according to actual conditions. Civil engineering costs are significantly reduced, and engineering investment can be saved by approximately 30%-50%.

(2) Reduced operating costs: The suspended chain mobile aeration system has significant energy-saving and low-consumption characteristics. It releases small amounts of gas, has a long residence time in the water, and the aeration unit swings freely underwater during the aeration process, resulting in higher oxygen utilization and power efficiency compared to other aeration methods.

(3) Convenient maintenance: All fasteners of the suspended chain mobile aeration system are on the water surface, making maintenance easy. The aerator can be directly lifted from the water without stopping the aeration or emptying the structure.
